Thank you for your interest in La Hacienda Riding Camp. La Hacienda Show Stables’ unique summer day camp program offers children ages 6–15 a wonderful way to learn how to ride -or improve your riding abilities-. There are also plenty of other activities including swimming, group games, scavenger hunts, and arts and crafts.

Sessions run for one week each at a cost of $250.00, from June 9 to August 15, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Parents must drop children off between 8:45 and 9:00 a.m. and pick children up between 1:45 and 2:00 p.m. (unless registered for extended care, which is available from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. and/or 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at a cost of $10 extra per child per day).

What to Bring

Each child will be given a La Hacienda Riding Camp T-shirt, on the first day of camp. Swim time will be offered weekly, so each camper should bring swimsuit, towel and (if needed) sunscreen & goggles. Campers may also want to bring insect repellent. Campers must apply sunscreen, insect repellent, etc. themselves.

Boots or other comfortable shoes suitable for riding. No open-toed footwear is allowed.

What NOT to bring

Money.

Toys, games, stuffed animals, playing cards, etc. These items are a distraction, and we cannot guarantee that they will not be lost or stolen. No skate-shoes or skates!

Any dangerous items such as matches, pocketknives, etc.
