FROM THE ARCHITECT

We started this project studying the existing conditions of the site in Florida.

The skin of the building provides layers to enhance the use of breezes and light.

The roofline responds to the heat and subverts traditional concepts.

An existing residence and a small barn were features that had to be taking in consideration; we took the centerline of the existing residence to be the axis, the link between the parts. Along this axis we created a series of spaces like the entry courtyard, the house, the pool patio, the yard and finally the stables courtyard opens like a Greek theater were people and horses will gather in a more poetic way.
